Renata Fortes has been working in the Internet industry since 1998 and has accumulated extensive online experience during this time. She was introduced to the Internet when she was 13 years old an was self-taught to use HTML by developing her own website. Through this website she was offered a job as a web designer. With only one year experience in web designing and still studying for a Graphic Design degree at university, she started working as a freelancer for Thunder House McCann Erickson in Brazil where she obtained extended design skills by working with a Cannes Lion Awarded Team. Since then she has been working as an Interactive Designer. She has also worked in Brazil for companies such as Grey Interactive, George Patterson Y&R 2.1 and Wunderman.
Renata came to Australia in 2004 to study English. Soon after, Renata married an Australian man and now lives in Melbourne. With her extensive experience gained in online media in Brazil, Renata was able to work in Australia for the same companies she worked for in Brazil. Renata has been working as a freelancer in Melbourne since 2008 and now works for various companies.
Renata has a passion for photography and now is learning it by reading books and magazines.
